2FA Account Setup Process at Ascio

As part of our efforts to increase security, we've implemented 2-Factor Authentication in the login procedure for the Ascio portal.

This is a free-of-charge service, and it will be mandatory for all our partners to implement it. When this is enabled on your account, it will automatically affect all users.

In order for 2FA to work, you need a separate device, typically a smartphone or an iPad, to provide the 2FA code when logging in. On this device, you need to download a 2-factor authentication app, for example, Google Authenticator for iOS or Authy for Android.

2FA setup process

Once the app is downloaded and 2FA is enabled on your account, you can start the enrolment by going to the normal login page of the Ascio portal. You will be guided through the different steps below:

  1. Enter your username and password.
  2. A sign-up guide will be presented to you. Please click Next to continue.
  3. Scan the QR code using your preferred authentication app. This will configure your authentication app for the Ascio portal. Click Finish.
    Note: You can use a two-factor authentication app, such as Google Authenticator for iOS or Authy for Android.
  4. You’ll get a message that the 2FA has been enabled.
  5. Click the link Continue to the Ascio Partner Portal to return to the login page.
  6. From now on, you will need to provide your 2FA code, which can be found in the authentication app on your phone or iPad, each time you log in.

Troubleshooting

  • If you lose your phone or device, please click on Lost your phone? Follow the instructions, and then return to step one to enroll your new device.
